D.N.S. Regional Institute of Cooperative Management Established by the Agriculture Credit Department of Reserve Bank of India in the year 1954-55, DNS Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, Patna is one of the 20 residential Institutes of Cooperative Management in India run by the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), New Delhi and 100% financed and promoted by the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India. In October 1997 the Institute was elevated as Regional Institute of Cooperative Management enabling to make its activities more broad-based. NCCT, New Delhi being a central agency for overall planning, monitoring and implementing various training programmes for the personnel of the Cooperative Department / Cooperative Institutions and other allied institutions of the state with a focus on the professional requirements of the cooperative personnel
