The National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) is a premier autonomous national-level organization promoted by the Ministry of Cooperation for education, training, research, and human resource development in the cooperative sector. Registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, NCCT plays a pivotal role in strengthening cooperative institutions across India through professional management of education, capacity building programmes, and sector-specific training initiatives. The origin of NCCT dates back to 1953, when the Government of India, in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India, constituted a Central Committee for Cooperative Training to organize and guide training for personnel working in cooperative institutions. In 1976, the National Council for Cooperative Training formally replaced the earlier Committee for Cooperative Training (CCT), and in 2018 it became an autonomous society under the Ministry of Cooperation. ....read more
