The National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) is a premier autonomous national-level organization promoted by the Ministry of Cooperation for education, training, research, and human resource development in the cooperative sector. Registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, NCCT plays a pivotal role in strengthening cooperative institutions across India through professional management of education, capacity building programmes, and sector-specific training initiatives. The origin of NCCT dates back to 1953, when the Government of India, in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India, constituted a Central Committee for Cooperative Training to organize and guide training for personnel working in cooperative institutions.
