About BBA (Agribusiness)

BBA (AGRIBUSINESS) The four-year, full-time BBA (Agribusiness) programme, affiliated with Tribhuvan Sahkari University, an Institution of National Importance established by the Ministry of Cooperation, is designed to develop young professionals with strong managerial, entrepreneurial, and leadership capabilities in the fields of agribusiness, agriculture, rural management, and allied sectors. The programme aims to provide students with a strong foundation in business management along with specialized knowledge of agricultural marketing, agri-input management, cooperative systems, supply chain management, rural finance, agri-entrepreneurship, and emerging trends in the agribusiness sector. It seeks to nurture innovative thinking, ethical values, professional competence, and decision-making skills required for addressing the challenges and opportunities in the rapidly evolving agricultural economy. The curriculum combines core business subjects with sector-specific learning through classroom teaching, case studies, field visits, internships, project work, industry interaction, and practical exposure. The programme also focuses on skill development, communication abilities, digital competencies, teamwork, and leadership qualities to prepare students for careers in agribusiness companies, cooperatives, agri-tech firms, banking and financial institutions, rural development organizations, startups, and government sectors. The normal duration of the BBA (Agribusiness) programme is four academic years comprising eight semesters. For more details click
